Who is responsible for your data#

Ionut Paramedic decides how and why personal information is handled on this website, which makes us the controller of it. If anything in this policy is unclear, or you want to exercise any of the rights in section 9, write to ionut1@gmail.com and a person will read it.

What we collect#

We collect four kinds of information, and only these:

  • What you send us. If you fill in a contact form, request a quote or make a booking, we receive what you typed — typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you chose to tell us about your enquiry.
  • What you say to the chat assistant. If this site offers one, the messages you type are processed so it can answer you.
  • Measurement, but only if you allow it. If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we record which pages are opened, roughly where the visit came from, your country and your device type, against a random identifier stored in your browser. It is not your name and we do not try to work out who you are from it.
  • Technical records. Our hosting keeps ordinary server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period so that attacks and faults can be investigated.

If you decline analytics, the third item does not happen at all. Nothing is stored in your browser and nothing is sent to us.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis#

  • To reply to you, prepare a quote, or arrange and manage an appointment. This is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform what we agree.
  • To keep the site available, secure and working correctly, and to investigate abuse. We have a legitimate interest in not running a broken or exploited website.
  • To understand which pages are useful so the site can be improved. This happens only on the basis of your consent, and only for as long as you leave that consent in place.
  • To meet obligations the law places on us, such as keeping records of transactions for the period our tax rules require.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means that produce legal effects, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Cookies and similar technologies#

The banner you saw on your first visit controls everything that is stored on your device beyond what is strictly necessary. What is stored, and how to change your mind at any time, is set out in our Cookie Policy.

Who else can see it#

  • Buildhaze, which builds and hosts this website, processes data on our instructions and only for us.
  • If this site has a chat assistant, your messages are sent to an AI provider so that a reply can be generated.
  • Email delivery and, where relevant, calendar or payment providers we use to actually complete what you asked for.
  • Public authorities, but only where we are legally required to disclose something.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. Everyone in the list above is bound to use it only for the purpose we gave it to them for.

Where your data is processed#

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards the law requires — most commonly the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or an adequacy decision covering the destination country.

How long we keep it#

  • Enquiries and correspondence: for as long as needed to deal with them, and then for a reasonable period in case you come back to us about the same matter.
  • Bookings and anything with a financial record attached: for the period our accounting and tax obligations require.
  • Analytics: in aggregate. The random identifier itself is short-lived and is deleted when you withdraw consent or clear your browser data.
  • Server logs: a short retention period set by our host, measured in weeks rather than years.

How we protect it#

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the systems holding enquiries is limited to people who need it, protected by individual accounts and passwords, and administrative access is separated from ordinary use. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but if a breach ever affects your rights we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law allows.

Your rights#

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it;
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including anything we do on the basis of legitimate interest;
  • hand it over in a portable, machine-readable form;
  • stop using it for analytics, which you can do yourself at any time through the cookie settings control on this site.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. Write to ionut1@gmail.com. We will not charge you and we will answer within one month. If you are in the EU or the UK and you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

Children#

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy#

If what we do with your data changes, we will change this page and update the date at the top of it. Material changes will be brought to your attention rather than made quietly.
